Description: Mourning is not over on day 8. It is still happening on day 228. While many stop coming and providing meals for families in mourning or families in hardships after that initial seven days, Achpat Shabbat strives to continue comfort far beyond. Shabbat is a time of is realignment as well as personal and spiritual connection. It provides normality and self reestablishment to individuals who otherwise may have challenging weeks, helping them in more ways than one.
