Impact L'Atid Venture: Sabbaba
Mentor: Jeff Finkelstein
Description: There seems to be a problem within the Jewish community: Jewish teens lose a big portion of their Jewish identities once they go off to college. This is because Judaism becomes less of an outlet, in many cases, and there are too many distractions to stay interested. Sabbaba is a Jewish subscription box that would solve this problem. College students would receive a subscription box correlating to each Jewish holiday filled with exciting items that would help them celebrate and be educated on the holiday. These boxes would be sent by students’ parents or Jewish organizations, wishing to get them more involved in Judaism. Not only would this remind them of their Jewish roots, but the personal gift would also excite them and make Judaism and enjoyable outlet.
